LYST’s new enterprise centre Pollards Studios has launched!

London Youth Support Trust’s latest enterprise centre, in partnership with Moat Homes and United Living, was opened this afternoon by MP for Mitcham and Morden, Siobhain Mcdonagh.

Congratulating the work that LYST do, Siobhain Mcdonagh said of the enterprise centre, ‘this is a wonderful opportunity for young people of the Pollards Hill area and I look forward to coming back and meeting some of the young entrepreneurs and see how they are getting on.’

Pollards Studios is a place where young people in the area can come and get support to start a business.  From business planning, to help accessing funding, to mentoring and digital skills training, there is a wide range of services available, all completely free.  Subsidised workspace is also available, starting at a very affordable rate of £100 per month all inclusive, from hotdesking to offices, we have it all.

After speeches from LYST Chair and CEO and Mary Otumahana (LYST supported entrepreneur)r, the festivities got underway and guests sampled delicious food from another LYST entrepreneur, Salvatori Casto who runs Taste of Sicily.

Watch this space for some information on the young people and their businesses who join us over the coming months who will make Pollards Studios a hive of creativity and positivity.
